Mission

The Robertson Family Foundation seeks to effect positive change in the communities and lives of the people who are served through our philanthropic support. We seek to build effective relationships with grantees through close communication and a willingness to understand the challenges they face.

While focusing on the broader needs of the community, we also strive to identify and support those areas of need not adequately served by local charitable organizations. By connecting resources and providing leadership in those areas of need, we seek to enhance and improve the lives of those we serve.

History

Founded in 2001 by the late Louise Robertson Lester—a celebrated artist, poet, businesswoman, and lifelong lover of "Life, Love and Laughter"—the Foundation has quietly transformed countless lives through education, the arts, health, and community vitality. Upon Mrs. Lester's passing in 2017 at age 96, her family reconstituted the Foundation to carry her spirit into the future. Today, under the leadership of Robertson family members and a dedicated Board, the Foundation is ready to write its next chapter with renewed energy and passion.
